As President Bush enters his final months in office, a record number of felons are seeking presidential pardons or commutations from him, causing "one of the largest backlogs in clemency applications in recent history"
Dick Cheney on the short list?

Schnoo, just thought I would include this portion of the article.
In his presidency thus far, Bush has “,” granting fewer of them than any president in modern history.
Sorta like true love. Many seek, few find.
Strong Lib here, who was a big fan of Clinton except/until he lied about Monica...
Before we start throwing stones at Bush and pardons, let's not forget some of Clintons very interesting pardons......
Every president makes "interesting" pardons. We are talking about people who have been convicted of something or another. Whether it be drugs, finances or etc., they were convicted. So someone is going to disagree with their pardon.
The real question is whether it is appropriate for a president to pardon someone for a crime to which they were probably an accomplice.
Would it be appropriate to pardon someone before he/she is charged with a crime?
Would it be appropriate to pardon someone before he/she is charged with a crime?

We may see a blanket pardon for the entire Bush administration after Christmas. Cover a lot of asses.
Is this the line for the Bail Out?
